    3. How much do guinea pigs sleep? Guinea pigs sleep about 4 hours in a 24 hour period. Your guinea pig will sleep at intervals for about 15 minutes in deep sleep. Most of the time, your guinea pig is resting, open to any dangers. Mostly, guinea pigs don't close their eyes while sleeping, unless in deep sleep.

    4. How much do guinea pigs cost? Guinea pigs can cost anywhere from $20-$80 each. Most pet stores sell them for around $40 each, while shelters can sell them up to $60 each. 

    5. How much money do I spend every month on guinea pig supplies? About $30 a month, because you need to buy bedding, hay and pellets about every month or more often. 

    6.  How often should I change my guinea pig's water, pellets and hay? For water, every day or two. Or when the water runs out. For pellets, about every day, or when your guinea pigs run out of them. Make sure hay is available at all times.
