About Me And This Blog

    Hello and welcome to my blog! First time here? This is a quick paragraph explaining who I am and about the kinds of things you will find on my blog.

    My name is Trisha and I love guinea pigs, reading, writing, drawing and swimming. I made this blog to teach people about guinea pigs, give tips to new owners, and to show the fun things I do with my piggies. (More about this blog in the next few paragraphs)  

     I have two guinea pigs, and their names are Pebbles and Trixie. They are both female and just turned a year old on July 11th, 2020. Pebbles is friendly and kind, loves carrots and hay, but hates being disturbed by Trixie or by me when she is resting. Trixie is friendly and curious, loves carrots and hay, but doesn't really like to be picked up. We got our piggies on September 11th, 2019 when they were 2 months old from a pet store. They are now pretty much tamed, and I love to play with them a lot! 

    I mostly made this blog to teach and educate people about guinea pigs, give tips to first time pet owners/new piggie owners, and to show all the fun adventures I have with my guinea pigs. The types of posts you will find on my blog are mostly the basics of guinea pig care, interesting info on guinea pigs in general, stuff you never knew about my piggies, and the fun adventures we have together.     I get most of my information from when I researched guinea pigs in late 2018 and 2019 which comes from various websites. Some of my other information comes from Little Adventures, a guinea pig YouTube channel that you should definitely check out!
