Q&A With Trixie And Pebbles (Answered!)

     It's time to answer your questions about my guinea pigs! We received about 7 questions or so. I'll read them all, then give the answers.

    The first question is from Aanya C. "Do your guinea pigs like bananas?" 

    My guinea pigs don't like bananas that much. Great question!

    Next question: "Have your guinea pigs ever gotten sick?" 

    My guinea pigs have never gotten sick so far. 

    "Why did you chose to shop instead of adopt?" 

    We chose to shop mostly because the adoption centers in our town don't have guinea pigs. We checked out a few, and they all either didn't stock guinea pigs or didn't have them currently, and weren't looking to get more. 

    "Do your guinea pigs like the cold?"

    Guinea pigs shouldn't be ever put in temperature under 65 degrees or so. Never put your guinea pigs outside in the cold! 

    "How much time do you spend with your piggies each day?"

    I don't spend time with them every day, but once a week or so, I play with them for 20-45 minutes. 

    "Why did you choose to get two girls instead of boys?"

    That's a very good question! Mostly because girls are sometimes less aggressive than boys. And, also, at the pet store that day, there were only girl guinea pigs. 

    "Do your guinea pigs play with each other?"

    They used to! But now, they barely do. Sometimes, they talk to each other, but other than that, no, not really.
